Friends of Strays is a non-profit organization located in St. Petersburg, FL, dedicated to the care and adoption of homeless pets.
Friends of Strays Animal Shelter understand the unique bond that a person can have with their companion animals. That relationship provides a sense of well-being and comfort for many years. Our staff is dedicated to helping homeless animals in Pinellas County and beyond find their forever homes. As a 501(c)3 non-profit animal shelter, our lifesaving success depends on individual, business and foundation donations.
With as many as 100 cats and dogs to visit at our shelter at any given time, Friends of Strays strives to provide the utmost love and care for every animal that comes through our doors. All of our adoptable dogs and cats are examined by a Veterinarian, sterilized, up to date on vaccines and given daily care and love by our staff until they are adopted. Friends of Strays is a no-kill animal organization dedicated to caring for those who cannot speak for themselves - our voiceless friends - the animals.
